Sabo Joins Select Sires Staff as Summer Veterinary Intern


PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 7, 2011 - Emily Sabo of New Philadelphia, Ohio, has been chosen as the veterinary intern for Select Sires Inc. During her time at Select Sires she will shadow the staff veterinarians.

Sabo is studying at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, N.Y. She graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., with a degree in molecular biology. Sabo has worked in several different veterinary clinics and on dairy farms both in Ohio and New York. She was on the Colgate Women's Rugby team all four years of her undergraduate career, and she was the president of the Colgate Green Thumbs, an organization responsible for growing and maintaining a garden on campus, for three years.

Based in Plain City, Ohio, Select Sires Inc., is North America's largest A.I. organization and is comprised of 10 farmer-owned and -controlled cooperatives.
