CowManager Prize to be Awarded at World Ag Expo by Select Sires
PLAIN CITY, Ohio, January 15, 2015 - CowManager® will be the focal point of the Select Sires booth at the 2015 World Ag Expo, being held February 10-12 in Tulare, Calif. One dairy producer will be awarded a 50-tag promotional kit, allowing access to all monitoring modules for 60 days.
Many members of the Select Sires staff, as well as Gerard Griffioen who developed CowManager, will be on-hand during the show in booths 6441 and 6442 in the Dairy Pavilion. While at the booth, informational videos showing the easy installation of tags and direct feedback from those who adopted the system early will be available.
The CowManager ear tag system was created by Gerard Griffioen, a Holstein breeder from the Netherlands, to monitor activity levels related to estrus, health and rumination measurements 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CowManager sends alerts based on changes in any or all of the three measurement modules, enabling producers to catch cows exactly when they need to be bred, find sick cows before they become critically ill or locate cows that are off-feed.
