Beef Specialists Announced

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, November 12, 2009 — In an effort to improve national presence and ensure great customer service in the beef industry, Select Sires Inc. has appointed 17 Beef Specialists. These specialists are well versed with the beef program and the beef industry and have a history of willingness to assist the headquarters beef staff and Select Sire's customers.

Beef specialists will be resources for customers to obtain information about the beef lineup, estrus synchronization, mating recommendations and other beef-related inquires on a local level. In many cases, the area beef specialist might also be the salesperson responsible for that customer; or responsible for facilitating communication between the appropriate sales representative and the customer.

"While we will continue to handle customer inquiries to our offices in Ohio, we believe that interaction between area beef specialists and customers will facilitate and provide more opportunities for long-term relationships," said Brian House, beef program manager at Select Sires.

The specialists will also assist the headquarters staff in such tasks as sire selection, sire and progeny photography and video, purchasing bulls, speaking at producer meetings, attending field days and other related events to promote the Select Sires beef program.
