Kneeskern Chosen as School-Year Intern for Beef Department

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, December 18, 2009 — Brett Kneeskern has been named one of the Beef Sire department school-year interns for Select Sires Inc. Kneeskern was born and raised in Tiffin, Ohio, where his family has a small crossbred beef herd. He was also very active in 4-H, showing club calves at the Seneca County and Ohio State fairs.

Kneeskern is currently a junior at The Ohio State University where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences with a minor in Agribusiness. While at Ohio State, he is an active member of the Saddle and Sirloin Club and also works at the Ohio State beef barn.

While at Select Sires, Kneeskern will be responsible for obtaining bull EPD's, gathering photos of progeny to help support the bulls, assisting with the 2010 Sire Directory and developing marketing pieces along with multiple other tasks.
