Denmark Son from Triangle Acres Coll Polly Enters A.I.


PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 15, 2000 - 7BS758 Triangle Acres POLLYDEN ET, a young Brown Swiss sire bred by John Korth, Freeport, Ill., has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement (PGA) sire sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, Pollyden is one of eight Brown Swiss bulls from throughout the United States to enter the program in 2000. In addition to being sampled through PGA Cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler. With this designation, his semen is available to all interested Brown Swiss breeders.

Pollyden is a R Hart TC Denmark ET son. Polly, his dam, is an early R Hart BC Collection daughter that produced 25,770 pounds of milk, 1,085 pounds of fat and 939 pounds of protein at 2 years and 2 months of age.

"His dam, Triangle Acres Coll Polly (EX-92), is well-known and well-respected throughout the world," says Jeff Ziegler, Select Sires Sire Analyst. "Many Europeans say she is the best young Brown Swiss cow in the United States today".

Pollyden's grandam is an Excellent (90) Tuolumme Patrick daughter with two records greater than 27,000 pounds of milk, 1,000 pounds of protein and 950 pounds of fat.
