NorthStar Cooperative Sales Representatives Receive National Awards
PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 22, 2001 — Twelve A.I. sales representatives employed
by NorthStar Cooperative, Lansing, Mich., have been named members of the
Select Sires President’s Club. This national award annually recognizes
employees who excel in sales and service to dairy and beef customers.
Among the 70 people throughout the country to earn this elite recognition
are: James Armstrong, Stanton, Mich.; Brent Beeker, Constantine, Mich.;
Darold Ebersole, Jackson, Mich.; Bill Emery, Hager City, Wis.; Terry
Kraning, Seymour, Wis., Harvey Kuehn, Green Bay, Wis.; Dave Loonstra, Eau
Claire, Wis.; Pat Mahoney, Balsam Lake, Wis.; Ed Nichols, Battle Creek,
Mich.; Richey Peterson, Plymouth, Ind.; Tim Rau, Abbotsford, Wis.; and Jeff
Toman, Barron, Wis.

specific performance levels for sales and service," says Joel Mergler, vice
president of training and educational programs, Select Sires. "President’s
Club members demonstrate outstanding leadership, knowledge and sales skills
when working with customers. They truly are expert at linking Select Sires’
products and services to herd-management practices that benefit beef and
dairy producers each and every day."
