PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 5, 2002 — 7BS767 Top Acres BRONZE ET, a Brown Swiss
young sire bred by Wayne E. Sliker, St. Paris, Ohio, has been chosen to
enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling
system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, BRONZE is one of seven Brown
Swiss bulls to enter the program in 2002. In addition to being sampled
through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER
SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Brown Swiss
breeders.
BRONZE is a Blessing Aytola BANKER son. His dam, Top Acres PR Blossom,
Excellent (91), produced 4-7 365d 33,360M 4.9% 1,643F 3.7% 1,233P.
His grandam, Excellent (90), Top Acres Prophet Bloom, produced 3-10 365d
33,300M 4.3% 1,420F 3.5% 1,153P. This was her second record over 30,000
pounds of milk, 1,400 pounds of fat and 1,150 pounds of protein.
