PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 5, 2002 — 7JE647 MVF/Kulp FREEDom Jay-ET, a Jersey young sire bred by Kulp Genetics and Craig Rhein, Manhiem, Pa., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, FREED is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2002. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Jersey breeders.

FREED is sired by 7JE424 Molly Brook Glnwood FREEDOM-ET. His dam, MVF Barber Sooner J 484, Excellent (92), produced 3-2 305d 23,694M 6.5% 1,544F 3.6% 856P. His grandam, Elmview Sooner J, Excellent (91), produced 7-0 305d 28,130M 3.4% 964F 3.3% 918P. Sooner J has four lactations with more than 20,000 pounds of milk and 850 pounds of fat.
