PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 5, 2002 — 7GU388 Idle Gold ROYAL CROWN-ET, bred by Neil and Janice Jensen, Turtle Lake, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ROYAL CROWN is one of five Guernsey bulls to enter the program in 2002. In addition to being sampled through PGA Cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Guernsey breeders.

ROYAL CROWN is a 7GU330 Jensgolden Proking ROYAL OAK son. His dam, Pafarms Fortress Cassandra, Very Good (89), is a former No. 1 CPI cow who produced 3-4 365d 30,970M 4.0% 1,250F 3.0% 943P. Cassandra’s maternal sister, Pafarms Harpoon Cherry-ET, Excellent (90), produced 3-7 365d 20,590M 4.7% 974F 3.8% 782P and was named Reserve Junior All-American senior 2-year-old cow.
