Washington Student Named Intern at Leading U.S. A.I. Organization


PLAIN CITY, Ohio, May 16, 2002 — Ann Marie Magnochi, Carnation, Wash., has been selected as the corporate communications summer intern for Select Sires, Plain City, Ohio. In this role she will develop the 2003 breeding calendar for customers, assist with media-relations activities and work on other communications projects. From May through August she will be based in the Select federation’s headquarters office in Plain City.

The daughter of George and Diane Magnochi of Carnation, Wash., Magnochi and her younger sister, own and operate Two Sisters’ Dairy Inc. This fall Magnochi will be a senior at Washington State University (WSU), Pullman, Wash., where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in advertising and animal science. She is president of the WSU Dairy Club, a member of the university’s dairy judging team and the 2002 American Dairy Science Association-Student Affiliate Division (ADSA-SAD) officer-at-large. Magnochi also served as the 2001 communications intern for Holstein Foundation, Brattleboro, Vt.
