Wagner, Bridgewater, Va., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ROCK 1 is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2002. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

ROCK 1 is a 7HO6247 Nunesdale Kismet ELATION-ET son. His dam, HM-NV Emory Peace-ET, Excellent (91), produced 3-8 365d 30,890M 3.6% 1,124F 2.8% 878P, from an Excellent mammary system. Peace is a daughter of 7HO3948 MJR Blackstar EMORY-ET. ROCK 1’s second dam, HM-NV Leadman Pepsi-ET, Excellent (90), Dam of Merit (DOM), produced 3-9 365d 21,310M 4.8% 1,032F 3.2% 683P.
