PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 4, 2002 — 7HO7477 Milk & Honey OSIDE Landon-ET, bred by Cedar Lane Farm LLC, Oldwick, N.J., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, OSIDE is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2002. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

OSIDE is sired by Comestar OUTSIDE-ET. OSIDE’s dam is Hanover-Hill Ches St Lue-ET. She is scored Excellent (94-2E) with an Excellent mammary system. She produced 3-11 305d 31,890M 3.7% 1,176F 2.8% 894P. With this record she was first in New Jersey for milk production and second for pounds of fat. OSIDE’s grandam, C Hanoverhill Star Lulu-ET, is scored Excellent (93) with an excellent mammary system and is a Gold Medal Dam and Dam of Merit. Lulu produced 3-05 365d 30,270M 3.9% 1,189F 3.2% 976P. OSIDE’s famous third dam is Tora Triple Threat Lulu, Excellent (96).
