PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 4, 2002 — 7HO7530 Muranda Durham LASSO-ET*TV, bred by Thomas and Nancy Murray, Waterloo, N.Y., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, LASSO is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2002. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

LASSO is sired by 7HO5157 Regancrest Elton DURHAM-ET. His dam, Beachlawn Blwood L Lilly-ET, scored Very Good (89), produced 1-10 365d 32,300M 3.5% 1,140F 3.2% 1,026P, from an Excellent Mammary system. LASSO’s grandam, Beachlawn Bellwood Tammy-ET, is scored Very Good (86). This Gold Medal Dam and Dam Of Merit has a lifetime production record of 1,260d 100,430M 3.7% 3,709F 3.3% 3,331P.
