PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 28, 2003 — 7JE687 Mar MAGNUM, bred by Cedarcrest Farms, Faunsdale, Ala., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, MAGNUM is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2003. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Jersey breeders.

MAGNUM is sired by Sunset Canyon MARQUEE-ET, a Rock Maple Brook MANNIX son out of Tenn Haug E Maid, Excellent (93). MAGNUM’s dam is Berrys Declo Magnation-ET, Excellent (90). Magnation produced 2-1 365d 19,300M 4.0% 773F 3.8% 733P. His grandam’s best record is 3-9 305d 19,510M 4.4% 864F 3.7% 729P and she has four records exceeding 4.1 percent fat.
