PLAIN CITY, Ohio, March 31, 2003 — 7GU396 Jens Gold Z SPADE, a Guernsey young sire bred by Jens Gold Farms, Amery, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. This young sire also has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Guernsey breeders.

SPADE is sired by Myown Magic POKER and his dam is Jens Gold Royal Oak Z Spruce, Excellent (91). Spruce produced 4-4 365d 22,880M 5.3% 1,215F 3.2% 735P and has three records of 5.0 percent fat or higher. Spruce has twice received an All-American nomination for the best three females class. SPADE’s next two dams have fat records of 5.5 percent and 4.7 percent, and his third dam is scored Excellent (90).
