Jenks, Buhl, Idaho, has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, PROMISE is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2003. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Jersey breeders.

PROMISE is sired by 7JE442 Rock Ella PARAMOUNT-ET and is out of Jenks Bold Tara-ET, Very Good (84). Tara produced 1-10 305d 24,460M 5.0% 1,225F 3.7% 917P. Tara has two full sisters that are Excellent (90) and Very Good (88), and both have production records exceeding 26,000 pounds of milk and 1,200 pounds of fat. PROMISE's grandam, Jenks Lester Twila, is scored Excellent (91) and produced 2-10 305d 19,530M 4.6% 894F 3.7% 722P.
