PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Oct. 17, 2003 — 7JE711 HERCULES of Maack Dairy, bred by Eric Silva, Beaver, Ore., and acquired from Maack Dairy, Cloverdale, Ore., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, HERCULES is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2003. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Jersey breeders.

Sired by the Danish sire ISDK Oda HEINO, HERCULES’ dam is Sunset Canyon LV Sequoia-ET, Very Good (85). Sequoia produced 1-8 365d 24,790M 7.0% 1,745F 4.0% 984P. HERCULES’ grandam is Sunset Canyon Daniel Sequoia, Very Good (86), and she produced 3-9 365d 31,868M 5.3% 1,675F 3.8% 1,215P. His third dam was scored Very Good (88) and the forth dam was scored Excellent (90).
