PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 9, 2003 — 7JE726 Queen Acres Golden FARGO-ET, bred by
James and Sharon Osborn, Keymar, Md., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’
Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his
outstanding pedigree, FARGO is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program
in 2003. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this
young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation,
his semen is available to all Jersey breeders.
FARGO is sired by 7JE510 GOLDEN Boy of Ferreira, the No. 1 type sire in the
breed at +3.1 PTAT. FARGO’s dam is MVF Khan Famous 446-ET, Excellent (91),
who produced 5-6 365d 36,239M 5.0% 1,796F 3.4% 1,245P. Molly Brook
Lester Famous, FARGO’s grandam, made a record 2-1 305d 17,890M 4.3% 764F
3.6% 646P and is scored Excellent (90). The third dam, Molly Brook Sooner
Fame-ET, is also scored Excellent (91), and made 3-0 305d 21,490M 5.5%
1,180F 3.9% 844P. Molly Brook Fascinator Flower, the family matriarch, is
next in line and completes four generations of Excellent dams at Excellent
(90).
