Based on his outstanding pedigree, SARGENT is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2003. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

Sired by 7HO5841 Sikkema-Star-W HI METRO-ET, SARGENT’s dam, Best-Sunrise Chespk Silk-ET, is Excellent (92-2E-EX-MS-GMD-DOM). She produced 3-11 365d 42,960M 3.4% 1,481F 2.8% 1,213P. This record enabled Silk to be third for milk in Missouri that lactation. Silk’s lifetime record is 1,982d 159,070M 3.5% 5,618F 2.9% 4,650P.
