Honeycrest Farms Inc., Spring Valley, Wis., and 7HO7753 Sandy-Valley
LEWIG-ET*TV, bred by David, Patrick, Frank Jr., and Gregory Bauer,
Scandinavia, Wis., have been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for
Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on their outstanding
pedigrees, SPLENDID and LEWIG are two of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the
program in 2003. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds,
these young sires have been identified as SUPER SAMPLERs™. With this
designation, their semen is available to all Holstein breeders.
