Based on his outstanding pedigree, SWAIN is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2004. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

SWAIN is sired by 7HO5375 Mara-Thon BW MARSHALL-ET, SWAIN's dam, Ocean-View Outside Shene-ET is scored Very Good (88) and produced 2-02 354d 25,560M 4.1% 1,043F 3.2% 824P. Ocean-View Lindy Sheen, SWAIN's grandam, is scored Excellent (94-EX-MS-DOM). She produced 4-9 365d 47,400M 3.0% 1,437F 3.2% 1,525P which ranked her third in California for milk and second in California for protein.
