PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Feb. 10, 2005 — 7HO8286 Pine-Shelter DURANGO-ET*TV, bred by Molly Alberts, Pine Island, Minn., has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, DURANGO is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2005. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

DURANGO is sired by Stouder MORTY-ET. His dam, Pine-Shelter Laguna Dur-ET produced 2-1 3x 365d 31,281M 3.3% 1,002F 3.3% 1,040P and is scored Very Good (87-EX-MS). Pine-Shelter Lucina Fargo is DURANGO's grandam. She is scored Excellent (95-3E-EX-MS) and is a Dam of Merit. Her best record is 6-5 365d 40,700M 3.6% 1,480F 3.0% 1,205P and she produced over 190,000 pounds of milk and 7,000 pounds of fat in her lifetime.
