Select Sires PGA Producing Leaders
in High-Components Breeds

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, May 17, 2005 — On May 9, 2005 Select Sires released its spring marketing lineup of high-component sires and it includes top bulls in each breed.

"This success would not be possible without the cooperating herd owners who use young sire semen from the Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™)," says Chuck Sattler, Vice President-Genetic Programs, Select Sires. "Through their participation we are constantly developing new proven trait leaders in every breed. And, the herd owners benefit from being the first to have progeny from these sires, plus they receive the financial rewards of PGA certificates. We continue to enroll new herds in the PGA to meet the needs of our progeny test expansion."
