Florent Named Intern at
Leading A.I. Organization




PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 7, 2005 — Molly Florent, Marengo, Ill., has been selected as the summer intern for the dairy-sire products and services department at Select Sires, Plain City, Ohio. In this role, she will work with the federation's 10-member cooperatives to locate, fit and photograph daughters of Select Sires' bulls. In addition, she will assist with tours and other projects while based at the organization's headquarters office in Plain City.

Florent, a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expects to graduate next May with a bachelor's degree in dairy science and agricultural journalism. She is a member of the UW-Madison dairy judging team and placed first in reasons, was second-high individual overall and a member of the winning team at the 2004 NAILE contest, Louisville, Ky. On campus, Florent is active in the Association of Women in Agriculture (AWA), serving as the 2005-2006 scholarship coordinator; the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA); and the Badger Dairy Club where she was a selections chairman for the twelfth Badger Invitational sale.

Florent hails from a 30-cow registered Holstein farm and is the daughter of Joe and Renee Florent.
