PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 22, 2005 — 7HO8592 Mr Rosedale-L TRIBUTE-ET *TV, bred by Mark Reuth and Lavender Farms of Deerfield, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires' SUPER SAMPLER™ program as a SHOWCASE SELECTIONS™ sire. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

TRIBUTE is an exciting red-carrier son of Granduc TRIBUTE-ET from the infamous Lavender Ruby Redrose-Red, Excellent (92-EX-MS). A STBVQ RUBENS-ET daughter, Redrose produced 4-0 323d 39,998M 3.5% 1,412F 3.3% 1,324P INC., and was reserve senior champion at the 2004 World Dairy Expo Red and White Show. Redrose was also named 2004 Reserve All-American Red and White 4-year-old, and is the dam of the 2004 All-American Red and White spring calf, Rosedale-L Trudy-Red-ET, who is TRIBUTE's full sister. TRIBUTE and Trudy's maternal sister sold for $50,000 at the 2004 World Classic Sale. TRIBUTE's grandam is Rudolph Lavendar, (EX-90-EX-MS) with 26,000 pounds of milk and the third dam is Leader Ann, (EX-93-2E) with a 39,000-pound record. TRIBUTE's fourth dam is the world-renowned Blackrose (EX-96-3E).
