Durham Louella's Son to Enter A.I.



PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 22, 2005 — 7HO8290 Crescentmead CHAMP-ET*TV, bred by Niles and Elmo Wendorf, Ixonia, Wis., has recently been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, CHAMP is one of 300 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2005. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, CHAMP semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

This fancy Calbrett-I H H CHAMPION son hails from the popular 7HO5157 Regancrest Elton DURHAM daughter, Crescentmead Durham Louella, now Excellent (92-EX-MS). Louella was nominated All-American junior 3-year-old in 2003 and produced 2-2 365d 34,130M 3.4% 1,174F 2.9% 974P. CHAMP's family traces to the well-known Valiant Lou Ella cow family with his five nearest dams averaging 92 points and best records averaging over 30,000 pounds of milk.
