Andrea Myers Hired at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Oct. 27, 2005 — Select Sires has hired Andrea Myers as sales and marketing communications specialist.

In this role Myers will manage the writing and production of Select Sires’ customer newsletter, Selections; coordinate all press releases; and work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote Select Mating Service™ (SMS™). Myers will be based at the company’s headquarters in Plain City, Ohio.

Myers brings a wealth of experience in journalism and agricultural promotions. Most recently she was a reporter for Farm and Dairy, a weekly regional agricultural newspaper based in northeast Ohio. She received writing awards from the Ohio Society of Professional Journalists and the National Newspaper Association.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication from The Ohio State University. Myers hails from a beef and cash grain farm in Mahoning County, Ohio, and currently resides in Marysville, Ohio.
