PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2005 — 7JE786 Maack Dairy Gold RIBBON-ET, bred by Maack Dairy, Cloverdale, Ore., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, RIBBON is one of 35 Jersey bulls to enter the program in 2005. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Jersey breeders.

RIBBON is sired by 7JE510 GOLDEN Boy of Ferreira. His Excellent (91) dam, Sunset Canyon Lemvig Ribbon-ET, produced 3-1 305d 28,320M 4.5% 1,267F 3.6% 1,022P and is going strong living in a commercial environment with more sons to enter A.I. The Very Good 7JE475 Mason Blue MARKER-ET grandam has over 31,000 pounds of milk while the third dam carries 4.2 percent protein and the fourth dam is the famous Bettyden Lester Ritzy.
