PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2005 — 7GU407 Faria Farms G MONTE-ET, bred by Frank & Patti Faria, Escalon, Calif., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ SUPER SAMPLER™ program as a Showcase Selections™ sire. With this designation, his semen is available to all Guernsey breeders.

The Premier Sire at World Dairy Expo 2005, 7GU360 Trotacre Loral TILLER–ET is MONTE’s sire. His Excellent (94) dam, Land of Living P Gratitude-ET, was a National Grand Champion, Reserve All American and twice garnered Total Performance Cow awards at national shows. Not to be outdone, the next dam, Wincrest Vayette Grace is Excellent (95) with two National Grand Champion honors, one All American and two Reserve All-American titles. Along with their national-show accolades, they also have sensational production records over 29,000 and 41,000 pounds of milk respectively.
