PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Nov. 8, 2005 — 7JE798 MM Jace GORDON-ET, bred by David L. Hogan, Tillamook, Ore., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. GORDON semen is now available to all Jersey breeders.

Sired by former JPI leader 7JE535 Windy Willow Montana JACE, GORDON is out of SHF Paramount Golden Gal, Very Good (88). She produced a top fat record of 1,666 with an incredible 7.4 percent fat test in her first lactation running in a commercial 1,000 cow herd in Oregon. She also scored a maximum 50 points on rear udder height. Her Very Good (86) MANNIX dam made over 18,000 pounds of milk at 1-11. Golden MBSB of Twin Haven-ET (EX-94) is the third dam who continues to hold the world-fat record at 2,421 pounds of fat with a 6.9%fat. Her son, 7JE510 GOLDEN Boy of Ferreira, is the No. 1 type bull in the breed.
