Select Sires’ Brown Swiss Dams and
Daughters Perform Well at World Dairy Expo

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Oct. 24, 2006 — At the 2006 World Dairy Expo (WDE) Central National Brown Swiss Show, Madison, Wis., Old Mill E Snickerdoodle (EX-94-2E-EX-MS), exhibited by Allen Bassler Jr., Upperville, Va., once again took home impressive honors. This four-time WDE grand champion was named reserve grand champion and first place component merit cow this year. A five-time All-American, she was the 2003 WDE supreme champion of all breeds. With such an impressive purple-ribbon legacy, it’s no surprise that Snickerdoodle is the dam to elite Showcase Selections™ bull 7BS796 Old Mill WDE SUPREME ET, now available to all Brown Swiss breeders. Showcase Selections bulls are chosen based on elite pedigrees and show-winning results and SUPREME fits this bill perfectly with tall, long, dairy and stylish daughters.

First spring yearling went to Hills Valley Dyn Perspect ET, owned by Chad Nolan, Chad Lundgren and Star Struck Show Cattle, Pleasant Hope, Mo. She is sired by 7BS750 Hilltop Acres EN DYNASTY ET*TM. Oak Forest Eagle Chris ET, owned by Voegeli Farms and Adrian Zuecher, Monticello, Wis. was second in the dry cow class. She is contracted by Select Sires and is the maternal sister to new release 7BS769 Oak Forest Ace CHRIS ET*TM.
