ZENITH Son from Pala Family Enters A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Aug. 7, 2007 — 7HO9301 Windy-Knoll-View PEPPER-ET, bred by James and Nina Burdette, Mercersburg, Pa., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, PEPPER is one of 330 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2007. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, PEPPER semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

PEPPER, sired by 7HO6782 Ocean-View ZENITH-TW-ET, is backed by one of the breed’s hottest families. His dam, Windy-Knoll-View Policy-ET (EX-90-EX-MS), is a Comestar Outside-ET daughter whose first record totaled more than 35,000 pounds of milk with 5 percent fat and 3 percent protein. Policy follows the tradition of excellence from her famous dam and grandam, Windy-Knoll-View Promis-ET (EX-95-2E-EX-MS-GMD-DOM) and Ultimate Pala (EX-94).
