DAMION Son from Maryland Enters A.I. at Select Sires

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Mar. 4, 2008 — 7HO9496 Windsor-Manor ZDRAGON-ET, bred by Jason and Donna Myers, New Windsor, Md., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement? (PGA?) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ZDRAGON is one of 335 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2008. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler?. With this designation, ZDRAGON semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

ZDRAGON is bred to sire fancy cows with high health traits. Sired by Type specialist 7HO7004 Erbacres DAMION, ZDRAGON hails from Windsor-Manor Rud Zip (EX-94-EX-MS-2E-GMD-DOM), a breed leader in Productive Life. A great brood cow, Zip has three sons in active A.I., including 7HO7383 Windsor-Manor Durham ZEUS, in addition to four Excellent daughters.
