Ohio State Student Named Beef-Marketing Intern at Select Sires Inc.



PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 3, 2008 — Clayton Cook, Carroll, Ohio, has been selected as the summer beef-marketing intern for Select Sires Inc. His responsibilities include assisting with preparation for advertisements and brochures, helping photograph bulls and bull progeny and performing other beef-marketing projects. Cook is located at the organization’s headquarters in Plain City, Ohio.

Cook is a senior at The Ohio State University where he majors in animal science. While on campus, he is a contributing member of the livestock judging team. In addition, he sits on the Fairfield County Cattlemen’s board of directors.

Cook’s knowledge of the beef industry comes from his family’s club-calf herd and working alongside his parents, Dan and Linda Cook.
