PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 22, 2004 — Thirteen A.I. sales representatives employed by NorthStar Cooperative, Lansing, Mich., have been named members of the Select Sires President’s Club. This North American award annually recognizes employees who excel in sales and service to dairy and beef customers.

Among the 102 people throughout North America to earn this elite recognition are: Greg Beavers, Bloomington, Ind.; Jerry Ellwanger, Pound, Wis.; Bill Hale, Alpena, Mich.; Harvey Kuehn, Green Bay, Wis.; Dave Loonstra, Eau Claire, Wis.; Jim Morgan, Sears, Mich.; Ed Nichols, Battle Creek, Mich.; Richey Peterson, Plymouth, Ind.; Tim Rau, Abbotsford, Wis.; Jeff Toman, Glen Flora, Wis.; Kim Walters, Lansing, Mich.; Wayne Westrich, Unity, Wis., and Jack White, Hart, Mich.

"The President’s Club award is presented to Select Sires sales representatives who have exceeded specific goals for sales growth in their area during the past year," says Joel Mergler, vice president, marketing and training, Select Sires. "These award winners are hardworking, dedicated A.I. professionals who use their knowledge, along with the service and genetic programs of Select Sires, to enhance the livelihoods of our producer members. The resulting growth is due to their abilities to provide reproductive and genetic solutions for dairy and beef producers."
