Carroll, Dement Join Staff

Dan Carroll joined Select Sires’ team of sire analysts in November. He will manage dairy photography for the federation, help coordinate tours, and assist with training and servicing the Select Mating Service™ (SMS™) program needs.

Most recently, Carroll was dairy herd supervisor at Cedar Lane Farm, Oldwick, N.J. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minn., he has prior work experience with two additional A.I. companies.

Beth Dement became associate manager, corporate communications, in January. In this role she will design advertisements and brochures; prepare the high-components breeds sire directory; serve as editor of Selections; and manage the corporate communications intern program.

Previously Dement was associate editor of the Jersey Journal, the monthly publication of the American Jersey Cattle Association, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She is a graduate of Berry College, Mt. Berry, Ga.
