New Synchronization Tool Available


A new synchronization product approved only for use in dairy heifers, beef heifers and beef cows now is available through Select Sires.

The EAZI-BREED™ CIDR® Cattle Insert


The EAZI-BREED™ CIDR® Cattle Insert, is inserted into the vagina for seven days. During this time, progesterone is released. On day six, producers administer 5 milliliters of LUTALYSE® Sterile Solution (dinoprost tromethamine). Upon removal of the CIDR on day seven, the drop in progesterone triggers estrus and ovulation. Estrus should be detected for the next four days post-removal, with insemination after estrus is detected.

EAZI-BREED CIDR Inserts are designed for one-time use only. Used inserts should be discarded immediately in a sealed, plastic container.
