Select Personnel Recognized
at NAAB Annual Convention


Charles Mollendick, Pleasantville, Ohio, president of Select Sires Inc. from 1998 to 2001, was recognized with the NAAB Member Director Award at the annual meeting of the National Association of Animal Breeders, held Aug. 22 through 24 in Milwaukee, Wis. Also recognized was Duane Giles, Select Sire Power, Poyntelle, Pa., who recently completed 100,000 first services, and Denis Curtin, All West/Select Sires, Fresno, Calif. who has sold 1 million units of semen (see story below). David Thorbahn, general manager, Select Sires Inc., made these presentations.

Dr. Donald Monke, Select Sires staff veterinarian, was reelected as NAAB’s vice chair, with Bill Ramsey, COBA/Select Sires, Louisville, Ohio, continuing as a board member.
