The breed associations clearly show Select Sires is the undisputed leader in genetic strength with five of the top-10 TPI™ Holstein sires, six of the top-15 Jerseys for JPI™ (November 2004), and the top three Angus proven sires for B-value (greater than 75 percent accuracy). Select Sires operates the only truly national sampling program where no more than 25 percent of our young sire semen goes to any one area of the country. This has given Select Sires a clear advantage in stability of our proofs from first to second crop. It’s also one of the reasons Select has more high-reliability sires (greater than 90 percent) in the top-100 TPI than any other company. Our Program for Fertility Advancement™ (PFA™) has increased the speed, accuracy and amount of research data that is collected and analyzed to improve fertility in every straw. These efforts have produced measurable results of improved fertility based on non-return rates of our technicians. In addition, Select Sires has a new advanced statistical procedure to analyze sires from approximately 1 million breeding records on a quarterly basis. This assures customers the highest quality product and most timely data available today. PFA has also allowed Select to partner with outside suppliers of fertility enhancements to bring added improvements to your farm. In addition, Select Sires has invested more than any other A.I. organization in estrus synchronization research. This is all part of our commitment to providing you the best quality product available.
