MATHIE’s Legacy
The illustrious Select Sires career of 7HO3707 Paradise-R Cleitus
MATHIE*CV is coming to a close, but not before breaking almost every
record for lifetime accomplishments. Here are just a few of his achievements:
- MATHIE was born July 12, 1988, which makes him 16 and a half
years old - the oldest bull ever at Select Sires.
- MATHIE is the oldest bull at Select Sires (and possibly ever in the
breed) to classify Excellent (96). He did this at 13 years, 2 months of age.
- MATHIE has produced and sold 1,512,471 doses of semen. This is an
all-time lifetime record at Select, and ranks him among the top in
lifetime sales for all bulls in A.I. around the world.
- MATHIE's ability to sire the kind of cows producers want - the kind
that last, stay in the herd and are profitable - is not just a rumor.
With his ranking as the No. 1 Productive Life (PL) bull among active-A.I.
sires at 99% Rel. (+2.6PL), this is fact.
With his consistency in siring great udders, feet and legs and cows
that last, MATHIE is a great all-time customer satisfaction sire.
His influence will be seen in the Holstein breed for generations to come.
