High Sellers
A fall 2005 7HO6758 Regancrest-MR Drham Sam-ET daughter topped the Oklahoma Sale at $7,000. Overside Mr Sam Barbie-ET was consigned by Joseph Osinga, Hico, Texas, and is now owned by John Koster, Comanche, Texas. Three more MR SAM heifers commanded prices of $5,900, $4,600 and $4,500.
Guernsey Sale Toppers
Topping the 2006 Wisconsin Video Calf sale was Idle Gold RTK Suzanne, an October 2005 7GU409 Riverwood Tiller KHAN daughter consigned by Neil and Janice Jensen, Comstock, Wis. This young sire daughter’s granddam is Majestic Oak Lewis Supreme, an Excellent (91) 7GU366 Trotacre Enhancer LEWIS-ET daughter featured in our catalog. Nells Glow Farm, Hilmar, Calif. was the buyer at $3,100. A Select Sires pedigree was the choice and high-selling animal for Spring Walk Farm, Big Prairie, Ohio, at the Buckeye Classic Guernsey Sale. Spring Walk Icy Crystal-ET, sired by 7GU343 Rozlyn Patmar Jay GLACIER-ET out of 7GU360 Trotacre Loral TILLER-ET daughter, Lantz Farm Tiller Icy (EX-91) sold to Lantz and Berousek, Ellsworth, Wis., for $4,200.
A fancy 7GU379My Day Bliss BANGER-ET fall 2005 daughter topped the Upper Midwest Spring Guernsey Sale, West Salem, Wis. Rollandia Banger Trina was the purchase of Dennis Nelson, Hilmar, Calif. at $3,000. Harry Swyers family, Amery, Wis. consigned her.
At the 2006 Blue Halter Sale in Bedford, Pa. Lavon Farms Tiller Hemmy was struck off at $10,000. Hemmy is a 7GU360 TILLER daughter, and was the honorable mention All-American fall heifer calf in 2005 for Lavon Farms, Plano, Texas. Her new owner is Gary Estes, Rogersville, Mo.

7JE696 LEGION Update
Earning grand champion honors at the Kentucky National Jersey Show and Sale was Legion Jasmine. She also topped the sale at $16,000. Jasmine was the consignment of Cedarcrest Farms, Ala., and was purchased by Charles Arlen of New Vienna, Iowa.

7MS342 FROLIC Daughter Takes Top Honors

Sired by 7MS342 Vinra Peerless FROLIC, Bar D Harp Exp led the way in the Milking Shorthorn senior 3-year-old class at the 2006 Spring Dairy Expo held in Columbus, Ohio. Continuing in her winning ways, she went on to be named grand champion of both the open and junior shows and later the reserve supreme senior champion of the junior show over all breeds. Last year, Bar D Harp Exp was the grand champion of the junior show at the Ohio State Fair for Elaine Bodey, Urbana, Ohio.

In the Junior Show, 7HO7004 Erbacres DAMION’s first Excellent daughter, Carrdale Damion Raven, was named intermediate champion after placing second in a strong class. Raven, exhibited by Katie Cole of Bucyrus, Ohio, went on to be named the reserve grand champion of the junior show. Reserve intermediate champion, Palmyra-Creek FB Sassafras, was shown by Neil Duncan, Warsaw, Ohio, and sired by 7HO5687 Sandy-Valley FORBIDDEN-ET. First place fall calf and junior show reserve junior champion honors also went to Duncan with Duncan Stormin Stacy, sired by 7HO8431 Macland STORMIN Bill*B/R BL. 7HO5157 Regancrest Elton DURHAM-ET*CV sired the junior champion of the show, Wegnerlann Gucci-ET. She was the winning spring yearling and the exhibit of Regancrest, Butzhill, and Jim Butler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Winning the junior 2-year-old class and named reserve intermediate champion was Luck-E Advent Kalotta-ET. Kalotta was the entry of Matt Engel of Hampshire, Ill., and a daughter of 7HO7872 KHW Kite ADVENT-RED-ET.

DURHAMs Dominate the New York Spring Holstein Show
Savage-Leigh Licorice-ET was the first place 5-year-old as well as senior and grand champion for owner Chip Savage, Knoxville, Md. Reserve senior and grand champion honors went to Carrdale Durham Kaylie shown by Joeanna Holsteins, Unadilla, N.Y. Both are daughters of 7HO5157 Regancrest Elton DURHAM-ET*CV. Licorice’s red carrier Talent son, 7HO8717 Savage-Leigh LYDON-ET is available in the Select Super Sampler program. Topping the senior two-year-old class was Flo-An Metro Carmel, a daughter of 7HO5841 Sikkema-Star-W HI METRO-ET*CV exhibited by
Nate Goldenburg and Mike Heath, McGregor, Texas.

Chuck and Sue Luchsinger of Silver Springs Farm, Syracuse, N.Y., have calved in five daughters of 7JE613 Blackys BIG TIME-ET and all five are appraised Excellent
as of their most recent appraisal. They are a very impressive group with tremendous udders. Highlights of this group include BHF-SSF Big Time Myrthe, Excellent (92) and SSF Big Time Belle.

Consistent Results with 7HO6782 ZENITH!
Neal and Connie Turley, Rolling Lawns Farms, Greenville, Ill. are currently milking 17 daughters of 7HO6782 Ocean-View Zenith-TW-ET. They describe them as black, silky, dairy cows with great udders. Two are already Excellent, eight are scored Very Good, and five more are Good Plus…all with more points in them. The Turleys have 40 Zenith heifers and are still using him--a testimony to his tremendous impact!

Hills Valley Dy Perspect ET, owned by Chad Nolan and Chris Lundgren, Lexington, Ill., was nominated for All-American spring heifer calf. Sired by 7BS750 Hilltop Acres En DYNASTY ET, her show winnings include first place at both the Minnesota and Iowa state fairs and fourth place at the Central National Show.

MS), the consignment of Justin and Clif Nilsy, Partridge, Kan., had the crowd buzzing at the Midwest Revue Sale held in Columbus, Ohio. Tiffany was the second-high seller at $10,750. Her new owners are Ken Main and Peter Vail, Copake, N.Y.
GLACIER Daughter Scores Well on Recent Classification
7GU343 Rozelyn Patmar Jay GLACIER-ET now has an Excellent (92), scored daughter. Sauder Dairy Patmar Haley is also Excellent (94) in the mamary system. She is owned by Eternal Flame Guernseys of Whitehall, Md.
