Select Sires Continues to Lead Industry
with gender SELECTed™ Semen

With responsible leadership and comprehensive research, Select Sires maintains its position as the industry frontrunner in offering the highest-quality sexed-semen available. Select Sires made gender SELECTed semen available in October 2005, becoming the first major A.I. company in North America to offer this exciting new product. “Striving, as always, to satisfy the customer, we are constantly updating our gender SELECTed lineup with high-quality proven bulls,” said Blaine Crosser, vice president dairy sire product line and sales management for Select Sires.


Select Sires has worked closely with Sexing Technologies, Navasota, Texas, to make this product possible. Originally, Select moved bulls to Texas to have semen sorted, but in March of this year, Sexing Technologies established a semen-sorting laboratory at Select Sires’ headquarters in Plain City, Ohio. This move allowed Select to step up production to meet growing demand and to make sexed semen available from highly-proven top Holstein, Jersey and Brown Swiss sires.
