USDA Sire Summary Highlights

In August, Select Sires experienced yet another excellent sire summary. Customer satisfaction sire 7HO6417 O MAN continued to outrank any bull in the breed for Net Merit Dollars at $710 and topped Select’s lineup for TPI™ at +1947.

Select graduated six new Holstein sires into active A.I. lineup, featuring some outstanding BW MARSHALL sons. Equally exciting were the additions to the high-components breeds offering highlighted by the elite new Brown Swiss bull 7BS769 CHRIS.

7HO7334 ARTIC

Hollingshead Artic Abby 1036-Grade

7HO7334 Canyon-Breeze HRL ARTIC-ET is a total performer at +1768 TPI with a solid +1,759 Milk. He is over +1.50 on all composites (+1.50 UDC +1.65 FLC +1.78 BD +1.55 D). Hollingshead Dairy, Minersville, Utah, own Hollingshead Artic Abby 1036-Grade.

Amateur Tina 1842

Up the Creek Hawk Seven (VG-83), owned by Dave Anderson, Lester Prairie, Minn., is the daughter of the new release 7GU391 Jens Gold G HAWK-Twin. He is tied for the No. 1 spot in the breed for Protein at +40 with a solid +1,107 Milk.
