ACTION Sons Enter Select Sires Lineup
7JE865 Sunset Canyon KYROS-ET graduates from the Program for Genetic Advancement Canada™ (PGAC™). The ACTION son debuts as the No. 8 Jersey sire for Jersey Performance Index™ (GJPI™) at +149. KYROS produces daughters that milk volumes (+1,085 Milk) with high components (+.08% Fat, +63 Fat, +.02% Protein and +41 Protein). Along with serving as a profit-maker through the component-rich milk, KYROS is designated as a FeedPRO™ sire and will produce daughters that can positively impact your bottom line. The FeedPRO designation reflects an index that predicts greater income over feed costs. KYROS daughters exhibit pleasing Type (+1.5) with tremendous udders (+2.62 Jersey Udder Index™, JUI™). Select Sires Dominates with Jersey Sires
Select Sires has eight Jersey sires ranked among the top 16 sires for JPI, six ranked among the top 20 sires for Type and six sires among the top 20 bulls for Net Merit dollar value (NM$).
Danish Jersey sire 236JE146 ISDK DJ ZUMA leads the breed for JPI and Net Merit dollar value (+197 JPI-M and +$646 NM). ZUMA sires longevity (+7.5 PL), daughter fertility (+2.2 DPR) and low somatic cell score (2.56 SCS). JPI standout 236JE3 ISDK Q IMPULS ranks fourth in the breed at +172 GJPI.
