Privacy Policy

Our commitment to privacy.
Your privacy is important to Select Sires Inc. (“we” or “us”). To protect the privacy of the visitors (“you”) to the domain selectsires.com (the “Site”), we have developed this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to explain our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used as you visit the Site. Please read below for more specific information on the type of information that we collect and how we use it. If you access and use this Site, you are opting into our data processing as described in this Policy, and granting us permission to collect and use your information. Please read below for more specific information on the type of information that we collect and how we use it.

Type of information we collect and how we use it.
When you visit the Site, we collect standard information about your hardware and software such as your IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited on our Site, referring and exit pages, and the dates and times of the visits. This site visitation data is used to administer the Site and provide general statistics regarding the use of the Site. Site visitation data is not linked to your personal information, and we do not use it to identify you individually without your permission.

We sometimes use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect to improve the design and content of the Site and to help us improve your overall internet experience. For example, we may use this data to tailor your experience at our Site, showing you content that we think you might be interested in, and displaying content according to your preferences. We also may use this information to analyze the Site usage.

The geo-code of where you are connecting from is used by Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics features and other third party pixel tags and cookies in order to execute and track display advertising, including remarketing advertising on other websites. These features help us understand which ads bring users to our site and inform and optimize the ads served. We and our third party vendors may use first party cookies or third party cookies, to inform, optimize, and serve ads on sites across the internet based on past visits to the Site or other sites you have visited that are associated with various ad networks. The information that we collect and share in this fashion is de-identified and does not contain personally identifiable information, and is intended for advertising to people over the age of 16. We also use data provided by Google Analytics to execute interest based advertising or analyze website activity based on third party audience data such as age, gender and interest. Using the Ads Settings, visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads.

Other permitted uses.
We may disclose information about your use of the Site when we reasonably believe that it is required by law or legal process and to protect and defend our rights and interests and the rights and interests of our customers, suppliers, or users. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. We may release certain information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to enforce or protect the rights, property, and safety of others and ourselves.

In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger, an acquisition by another company, or a sale of all or a portion of our assets, users' information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Notifications of such a transition will be made using the mechanisms described in the "Changes to Our Privacy Policy" section below.

Use of cookies and other electronic tools.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We use cookies to help us identify and track visitors, their usage of our Site, and their website access preferences.  Site visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the Site, with the drawback that certain features of the Site may not function properly without the aid of cookies. Likewise, most mobile devices allow you to disable the ability for geo-location information to be collected from your mobile device. The help function on most browsers and mobile devices contains instructions on how to set your browser to notify you before accepting cookies, disable cookies entirely, or disable the collection of geo-location data. However, if you disable cookies or refuse to accept a request to place a cookie, it is possible that some parts of our Site will not function properly.

We may provide links to our advertiser and partner websites and other websites. If you link to any of these third party websites, this Policy will not apply to your use of, and activities on, those sites. We encourage you to read the legal notices posted on those sites, including their privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for your visits to, and the data collection and use practices of, these sites. You are not permitted to access the non-public, employee portal located on this Site.
