CAMELOT Son from Jinx Family Enters A.I.

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, April 16, 2001 — 7BS757 Forest Lawn JUNCTION ET, a young Brown Swiss sire bred by Forest Lawn Farm, Wausau, Wis., has been chosen to enter Select Sires' Program for Genetic Advancement (PGA) sire sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, JUNCTION is one of eight Brown Swiss bulls from throughout the United States to enter the program in 2001. In addition to being sampled through PGA Cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler. With this designation, his semen is available to all interested Brown Swiss breeders.

JUNCTION's pedigree brings together an exciting lineup of sires - Gearing's Patrick CAMELOT x Top Acres Dotson PROPHET ET x Victory Acres Jubilation EMORY. Equally as impressive are the three Forest Lawn dams behind this young sire. They trace directly to the world-renowned Idyl Wild Improver Jinx (3E-90). These descendants are believed to be the most productive of all the Jinx progeny lines. JUNCTION's dam, Forest Lawn PHT Joellen ET (EX-90), is living proof with a 2-year-old 365 day record of 27,790 pounds of milk, 1,194 pounds of fat and 959 pounds of protein. This pedigree is designed as a complementary mating on the "Christine" bloodlines.
