PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 6, 2001 — 7AY73 Daltondale BIG NICK-ET has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement (PGA) sire-sampling system. BIG NICK, bred by Daltondale Farms, Hartland, Wis., was selected based on his outstanding pedigree. In addition to being sampled through PGA Cooperator herds, BIG NICK has been identified as a Super Sampler. With this designation, his semen is available to all interested Ayrshire breeders looking for high production pedigrees to add to their breeding programs.

BIG NICK is a son of 7AY60 Covey-Farms Ramses RECRUITER, who ranks in the top 10 of the breed for Production Type Index (PTI), Net Merit and Predicted Transmitting Ability (PTA) for milk, fat and production. BIG NICK’s dam, Daltondale Tri Ardath (VG-89), completed a production record of 4-1 305d 25,240M 4.0% 1,011F 3.1% 773P.
