PLAIN CITY, Ohio, July 6, 2001 — 7HO6839 ART-Acres Mtoto Dave 473-ET, bred by Arthur G. Rhoderick, Hagerstown, Md., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement (PGA) young sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, ART is one of 315 Holstein bulls from throughout the United States to enter the program in 2001. In addition to being sampled through PGA Cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler. With this designation, his semen is available to all interested Holstein breeders.

ART is a Carol Prelude MTOTO-ET son. His dam, a Very Good (88) 7HO3948 MJR Blackstar EMORY-ET*TL daughter, produced a record of 3-0 365d 36,430M 4.1% 1,497F 2.9% 1,054P. ART’s grandam, Art-Acres Aerostar Kay K-ET (VG-87) Gold Medal Dam (GMD) and Dam of Merit (DOM), produced a record of 2-06 365d 35,780M 2.9% 1,038F 3.2% 1,142P.
