PLAIN CITY, Ohio, October 25, 2001 — 7HO7009 REGANcrest Ethan-ET, bred by Regancrest Farm, Waukon, Iowa, has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, REGAN is one of 315 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2001. In addition to being sampled through PGA Cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

REGAN is the only 7HO6250 Ricecrest EMERSON-ET son available from the full sister of 7HO6131 Regancrest Emory DERRY-ET. Regancrest Emory Dorissa-ET, DERRY’s full sister, is a Very Good (86) daughter of 7HO3948 MJR Blackstar EMORY-ET. She produced 30,130 pounds of milk, 1,211 pounds of fat and 1,009 pounds of protein in 365 days at 2-years, 4-months of age. The second dam, Snow-N Denises Dellia, is an Excellent (95-2E) daughter of 7HO980 Walkway Chief MARK that is a Gold Medal Dam (GMD) and Dam of Merit (DOM). Excellent in all five classification breakdowns, Dellia has three records more than 31,000 pounds of milk, 1,100 pounds of fat, and 1,000 pounds of protein.
