Brown Swiss Young Sire Bred in Illinois to Enter A.I.

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, Dec. 4, 2001 — 7BS764 Genesis Den VALENTINO ET, a Brown Swiss young sire bred by Stuart A. Wolfe, Orangeville, Ill., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, VALENTINO is one of eight Brown Swiss bulls to enter the program in 2001. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a SUPER SAMPLER™. With this designation, his semen is available to all Brown Swiss breeders.

VALENTINO is sired by R Hart TC DENMARK ET. His dam, Genesis Dominate Veva, is a Very Good (89) 2-year-old that produced 2-0 365d 26,795M 5.2% 1,404F 3.7% 981P. The Excellent (91) grandam of VALENTINO, Genesis Even Victoria ET, has two records exceeding 26,000 pounds of milk, 1,000 pounds of fat and 950 pounds of protein. Genesis Preston Veronica is the third dam in VALENTINO’s pedigree. Her best record is 5-1 365d 27,720M 3.6% 991F 3.4% 945P.
